INTEGRATION OF BMS & EMS SYSTEMS AT REGZA FACTORY (HISENSE)
Solution: Honeywell DDC Cabinet integrated with Building Management and Energy Monitoring Software
In March 2025, CAD Supply Co., Ltd. successfully delivered, configured, and handed over the technical control and monitoring system for the Regza factory, under the Hisense Group. The project utilized Honeywell DDC (Direct Digital Control) panels integrated with centralized monitoring software to implement a comprehensive Building Management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS), supporting efficient operation and energy usage across the facility.
🎯 SYSTEM OBJECTIVES
The system is designed to provide centralized monitoring, flexible control, and early warnings for critical technical infrastructure within the plant. Additionally, it tracks and analyzes energy consumption to assist with optimizing operations and reducing energy waste.
🔌 HONEYWELL DDC CABINET – CONTROL CENTER
CAD deployed Honeywell DDC cabinets capable of continuous data acquisition, signal processing, and local equipment control. These panels were installed in the central technical room and connected to field devices via industrial communication protocols (BACnet/Modbus).
The system is highly scalable, allowing the factory to expand its coverage as new equipment or areas are added.

🏢 BMS – BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The BMS system deployed by CAD acts as a centralized hub to monitor and control all technical systems within the facility, including HVAC, lighting, elevators, security, fire protection, valves, and other electrical systems.
The user interface is visually intuitive, displaying real-time equipment status and spatial layout through animated icons, color-coded alerts, and detailed floor plans per area or zone.

Flexible role-based access allows administrators, technicians, and energy supervisors to interact only with the relevant parts of the system. In addition, it logs all events and generates alerts for abnormal conditions such as overheating, signal loss, or device malfunctions.

⚡ EMS – ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The EMS system enables real-time monitoring of electricity consumption across the plant with high accuracy. Data is collected from electrical panels, CTs, and energy meters and displayed in summary tables, bar graphs, and line charts.
EMS interface
Key features of the EMS software include:
-
Comparing energy usage by area, electrical panel, or production shift.
-
Analyzing trends over days, weeks, or custom time ranges.
-
Early detection of anomalies (e.g., overcurrent, phase loss) to minimize risks and prevent energy loss.
-
Exporting periodic reports (PDF, Excel) for internal management or energy audits.
✅ KEY BENEFITS
The BMS & EMS integration provides Regza with:
-
Reduced time spent on manual system checks
-
Improved reliability of all technical systems
-
Early detection of issues to minimize machine downtime
-
Efficient energy usage and cost reduction
-
A step toward Smart Factory transformation
CAD engineering team training factory staff on system operation
